Sponsoring Agency

If you are receiving funding from an agency other than Manitoba Student Aid (MSA), Training and Employment Services (TES) or Employability Assistance for People with Disabilities (EAPD), please have your sponsoring agency complete this form. If you are a TES or EAPD client, please contact TES or EAPD and they will submit your funding information directly to MSA.

Second Full-Time Application for the Same Academic Year

Starting 2025/26, if you already submitted a full-time application online and need to submit a second full-time application for the same academic year, you can now complete an online application.

  1. Log in to your online portal.
  2. Select the appropriate program year.
  3. Choose the full-time application option and complete all required steps.
  4. Submit all required documentation to Manitoba Student Aid.

DATE LIMIT: Online applications and all required information must be submitted no later than 60 business days before your study period ends. Funds cannot be released after your study period end date.

We strongly encourage students to complete the online application whenever possible. However, if you require an alternate format, please download the 2026/27 full time paper application here (Adobe PDF Document 599 KB).

Note: Original ink signatures are required on the application.

Applications that are incomplete, emailed, faxed or photocopied will not be processed.


Part-Time Student Aid Application

If you are taking 20% to 59% of a full course load at a university or college, you may be eligible for part-time student aid.

+ First Application for 2026/27

Your first part-time application for the 2026/27 academic year can be submitted ONLINE through the student aid portal.

To complete your application:

  • Fill out the online application.
  • Submit Section C (Adobe PDF Document 107 KB), signed in ink by you and your spouse (if applicable) and Section D (Adobe PDF Document 139 KB), completed by your educational institution.
  • Submit other required documentation to Manitoba Student Aid.
  • Forms can be completed electronically before printing and signing.
+ Additional Applications for 2026/27

If you need to apply again for part-time funding during the same academic year, you must use the paper application.

Documents You Need to Submit

Please include copies of:

  • Your previous year’s Notice of Assessment from the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) (e.g. 2025 NOA for 2026/27 application).
  • Your spouse's previous year’s Notice of Assessment (if applicable) (e.g. 2025 NOA for 2026/27 application).
  • Your Permanent Resident (PR) Card or proof of Protected Person status (if applicable).
  • Your academic history or transcript showing your name or student number, if you previously received part-time student aid.
