Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week

In appreciation of the many important contributions of teachers, administrative assistants, education associates, nurses, bus drivers and custodians, and all school support staff working in Manitoba’s K-12 schools.

Ian Wishart, Minister of Education and Training for the Province of Manitoba, has proclaimed February 11-17, 2018 as Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week.

I Love to Read Month 2018

Following a successful provincial summit to co-develop a strategy for literacy and numeracy, I Love to Read month reminds us once again about the importance of literacy in our lives from cradle to careers. Literacy provides opportunities in all aspects of life and we know that learners, educators, families, and community members all have a role to play in supporting the love of reading.

Manitoba's Excellence in Education Awards 2017-2018

Nomination forms for the 2017-2018 Excellence in Education Awards are now available and must be submitted no later than December 1, 2017. The submission deadline was extended to December 20, 2017.
