In this course, learners will deepen their understanding of shielded metal arc welding and quality inspection, building on the knowledge gained in the fundamental course. Learners will continue to expand their expertise in the welding profession, including safety practices, tools and equipment, and the selection and use of materials and consumables. This advanced course emphasizes more complex procedures and advanced positional shielded metal arc welding and quality inspection.
This course focuses on the following units in the Apprenticeship Manitoba Level 1 technical training:
