Grade 9 Introduction to Automotive Technology

Course Overview

This is an optional course intended for learners wanting to explore automotive technology. It may be delivered as a half-credit or full-credit course. Learners will be introduced to automotive safety, tools and equipment, as well as materials and consumables. They will begin developing essential skills for working in the automotive trade.

The learning outcomes in this course may not follow a fixed sequence, as they are organized to align with Apprenticeship Manitoba standards. Only the outcomes relevant to this course are included. A complete list of learning outcomes can be found in the primary learning outcomes resource.
