Grade 12 Essential Mathematics learners in Half Course V will develop critical-thinking skills by analyzing puzzles and games involving logical reasoning. They will develop an understanding of owning and operating a vehicle, including the maintenance. Learners will develop statistical reasoning involving measure of central tendency and percentiles. They will develop spatial sense relating to the limitations of measuring instruments. Learners will develop a plan for their future, including possible career choices and their requirements.
