Teaching Experience
In general, experience gained in a public school system while holding a valid teaching certificate in that jurisdiction is recognized in Manitoba.
Experience gained in private schools, or child or youth institutions may be recognized in Manitoba.
Experience gained before holding a valid certificate in the jurisdiction is not recognized.
The employing authority where you worked must complete and submit the appropriate form to have your experience recognized.

A letter from the past employing authority stating the start and termination date, the number of full days taught in each school year, as well as a statement as to whether you were full or part time, would also be acceptable.
