  The advisory body to the Minister of Education on matters related to teacher education and certification, namely, the Teacher Education and Certification Committee, undertook a review of pre-service teacher practicum programs to identify ways in which these practicum experiences could be improved.  This review resulted in the development of this beneficial resource document that has been recommended by the Minister for adoption as a best practice approach to supporting the quality of teacher practicum placements.
