Grade 12 Provincial Tests
There are provincial tests in applicable language arts and mathematics courses that students in the English Program, French Immersion Program, and Français Program are required to write.
Provincial tests will be administered system-wide each semester in the following Grade 12 subjects:- English Language Arts 40S courses
- Français langue première 40S : Langue et communication
- Français langue seconde — immersion 40S : Langue et communication
- Applied Mathematics 40S/Mathématiques appliquées 40S
- Essential Mathematics 40S /Mathématiques du quotidien 40S
- Pre-Calculus Mathematics 40S /Mathématiques pré-calcul 40S
The Grade 12 provincial tests are administered at the end of each semester. The percentage of the tests attributed to students’ final course mark will be 20 per cent in the 2023/2024 school year.

Policies and Procedures 2023-2024
Student Registration
Student registration is done each semester using the Provincial Test Student Registration (PTSR) web application which is available for a three-week period at the beginning of each semester. Schools wanting to register students using the file upload function may need to enter the pertinent reference codes in their student information system in order to create XML files. Reference codes coming fall 2023.
