Module 1: What is Community and Diversity

In Module 1 of the Community and Diversity interdisciplinary unit, students develop their knowledge of habitats and
communities and begin to explore what diversity is all about. Students familiarize themselves with various aspects of
Aboriginal traditional knowledge and how it applies to our relationship with nature today. They identify the geographic
features and natural resources across the regions of Manitoba.
