International Education Week (IEW), November 17 - 21, 2008, is designed to showcase the significant contribution that international education makes in preparing Canadians for the global world and supports Canada’s efforts to engage effectively on the international stage.
Weather radios will be distributed to all public schools, funded independent schools, board offices and transportation garages across Manitoba.

Winnipeg’s Argyle Alternative High School has been chosen as one of only three Canadian schools to submit a report to the 2007-08 edition of the Youth Eco-Parliament Report for the Environment.
