Grades K-10 Science Curriculum: Learning Outcome Progressions by Big Ideas about Science (

The outcomes within the big ideas about science are presented in the nature of science strand of the science curriculum. These outcomes become increasingly complex from Kindergarten to grade 10 and are divided into four progressive grade-bands: Kindergarten to Grade 2, Grades 3 to 6, Grades 7 to 9, and Grades 10 to 12. This curriculum implementation support document presents learning in a progressive format to show how these big ideas about science are developed throughout the teaching of science from Kindergarten to Grade 10.
