As Manitoba’s Minister of Education, I am pleased to welcome you to our department’s website. Here, you will find comprehensive information about the many programs and services available to promote lifelong learning, from early childhood to post secondary education to continuing education opportunities. Through strong educational programming and effective administration, we will provide our citizens with the intellectual and practical tools they need to achieve their personal goals and succeed in an increasingly global economy.
We will also ensure that people immigrating to Manitoba receive the support they need to find good paying jobs, both from our government and from the federal government. This includes new immigration pathways for international students that provide a fast track to nomination for permanent residency.
