Apprenticeship Program

For a person who wants to be a certified trade journeyperson, apprenticeship training offers paid on-the-job learning and sponsored technical training. An employer pays an apprentice an incremental, industry-established wage while learning on the job. The Apprenticeship Branch sponsors an apprentice's technical training at school.

Funding to Provide Adult English as an Additional Lanuage (EAL) Classes

The Manitoba Immigration and Integration Program provides funding to eligible groups to provide Adult EAL instruction in schools, workplaces and communities.

International Education

Tuition Fee Income Tax Rebate

The Senior Years Apprenticeship Option links regular school instruction for S3 and S4 students with paid, part-time on-the-job apprenticeship training. Employers hiring Senior Years apprentices may be eligible for a student wage subsidy through the government's Career Focus Program.
