Stories of Practice
School leadership really matters. Research continues to highlight the substantial impact that school principals and vice-principals have on the culture of a school and the role of school leaders in creating engaging learning environments that support the learning and well-being of all students.
The Manitoba School Leadership Framework describes school leadership broadly and is intended to capture the important features of leadership, taking into consideration the diversity found within schools and communities. The role of a school leader is influenced by the context of their local school community, including languages, cultures, and identities of that community.
These stories of practice highlight Manitoba school leaders in action and offer inspiration and practical insights for educators. By promoting shared learning and professional growth, they help foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement in Manitoba’s schools.
