Web-Based Course Option

Manitoba Education, Citizenship and Youth is pleased to provide and host curriculum-congruent web-based courses for any school division/district or adult learning centre wishing to implement senior years courses using the Internet. Web-based courses are intended for use in distance learning or blended learning contexts or as a teaching resource. Training is provided for new web-based course teachers.

Please note: Web-based courses are not designed for independent study.

Now Available: WBC Request System
The online WBC Request System replaces the previous paper and fax-based system for requesting web-based courses and the email system for requesting student accounts. It is intended for Manitoba teachers only.

Teachers
Create a user profile to manage all of your web-based course requests. You will be notified by email when your course section(s) have been created and both you and your school administrator will be notified when any requests for student accounts have been processed.

Manitoba high school students
Do not use the WBC Request System but must register for web-based courses through their school. Interested students are encourage to contact their local school/school divisions/districts directly to discuss web-based course options available to them.
