School Clinicians

A certificate must be held in order to be employed as professional school personnel in Manitoba.

A School Clinician certified in Manitoba for the first time is issued a provisional school clinician certificate; valid for three years. A school clinician certificate may be extended upon the recommendation of a school superintendent.

Six types of school clinician certificates exist in Manitoba:

  • Reading
  • Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology
  • Social Work
  • Occupational Therapy
  • School Psychology
  • Physiotherapy

Professional Certification Service Rates
Effective July 5, 2017, new rates apply to services related to teacher and clinician certification. The new rates are published in the Education Certificates, Transcripts and Miscellaneous Fees Regulation.
