Reference Material

ISO Reference Materials are intended for use by Manitoba teachers, pre-service teachers, and students. The Distance Learning Unit is only able to process ISO Print based requests for those residing outside of Manitoba. Reference Materials requests can now be submitted online. Select the Request Reference Materials button immediately below each course description, and then select the format option.

  1. Option 1: ISO Print based material – Available to Canadian residents.
    • Grade 9 – 12 courses may be purchased for reference from the ISO office.
    • Courses are copyrighted material and may not be duplicated.
    • These courses include course material only and not resource packages. Exams and answer keys will not be included.
    • After submitting your request online, you will receive an email with payment instructions and the total amount due.
    • Tutor/Marker services are not provided with reference material.
    • The ISO office does not provide technical or content support.
    • If a class set is required, then the print-based materials must be ordered.
  2. Option 2: ISO PDF – Available to Manitoba residents.
    • Grade 9 – 12 courses are available by accessing the Learning Management System (LMS) as an individual user or school/group user. The school must be listed.
    • Courses are copyrighted material and may not be duplicated.
    • These courses include course material only and not resource packages. Exams and answer keys will not be included.
    • Manitoba Education (MET) waives the LMS access fee and course fee if PDF courses are requested.
    • Tutor/Marker services are not provided with reference material.
    • The ISO office does not provide technical or content support.
