On April 13, 2020, the province announced a partnership with the Pembina Trails School Division and the St. James-Assiniboia School Division to offer expanded access to InformNet online courses during the suspension of in-school classes due to COVID-19. The department is acting as a help desk and offering professional development to support the expansion. Coaching and assistance with applications on InformNet will be offered to teachers through a support team with direct online teaching experience.


Exclusively available to Manitoba teachers is the Manitoba Professional Learning Environment on Maple. This teacher-only website created by Manitoba Education provides curriculum related resources developed by Manitoba Education or Manitoba teachers spanning all subject areas. In addition, Manitoba Education has created a special group dedicated to supporting teachers during the suspension of in-school classes during the COVID-19 pandemic. This group contains curriculum resources and learning experiences that may be online or can be provided as print resources.
