Kaskíhtawin Bursary

The Cree word for ‘It Can Be Done’, the Kaskíhtawin Bursary was developed by the Kiskentamowin Advisory Council to provide financial support to Indigenous students attending adult education programs in Manitoba.  The award is intended to help learners who are experiencing financial hardship achieve their academic goals.

The Kiskentamowin Advisory Council is advisory to the Director of the Indigenous Inclusion Directorate on matters related to post-secondary education, literacy and training for Indigenous learners.

The Kiskentamowin Advisory Council is pleased to partner with the Adult Secondary Education Council (ASEC) to disburse ten bursaries at $500 at ASEC’s annual Spring Conference to be held on April 17, 2020 in Winnipeg.

Interested applicants can download the poster and application form here.  Applications also available at your Adult Learning Centres or Adult Literacy Programs.
