TVI sponsored licensing for the CATIA software ended in October 2009. TVI negotiated an extremely favourable licensing renewal agreement with ENGINEERING.com. Under this agreement schools and post-secondary institutions were able to take advantage of a one-time licence purchase option as opposed to an annual licence renewal fee. All provincial colleges, U of M Faculty of Engineering, as well as schools in ten school divisions have taken advantage of this option.
This means that the "hub school" concept continues to grow, as does participation in the F1 in Schools (
1.7 MB) project.

TVI has entered into an agreement with CDX to provide the most up-to-date automotive program curriculum support materials to all Manitoba schools and colleges offering automotive programs. TVI will provide this multi-faceted online resource for at least the next three years. Training for teachers will be provided, along with online technical and help support. The licenses will be available to the schools this spring, so that implementation can occur in the 2008-09 school year.
Funding request applications for 2010-2011 Equipment Upgrades, Professional Development, and Demonstration Projects support were sent to school divisions in March 2010.
