  • Supports schools programming for Manitoban students who are Deaf/hard of hearing and use American Sign Language (ASL)
  •  Provides a formal evaluation of interpreting skills of staff as requested by School Division personnel
  • Models use of appropriate interpretation in the classroom
  • Supports families, school staff, and students who are Deaf/hard of hearing
  • Supports the school team in facilitating inclusion for students who use ASL-English interpertation services
  • Supports the school team in developing ASL skills
  • Provides workshops on ASL development and interpreting skills for interpreters and educational assistants working with Deaf/hard of hearing students using ASL in the classroom
