ASL Assistant Services:

• Provides American Sign Language ASL) support to the Manitoba Education, Citizenship, and Youth (MECY) Outreach and School teams in assisting deaf and hard of hearing students and support staff.
• Visits schools that request support from Deaf Personnel or Role model.
• Establishes and provides ASL club for student and staff.
• Provides ASL support for students, family and community.
• Provides presentations on Deafness.
• Schedules and provide video phone conferencing with student(s) and Educational assistant(s)/interpreter(s).
• Supports student and staff with ASL via d-link (video phone conferencing).
