Development
2004-2005

Manitoba Education, Citizenship and Youth leads a team of Manitoba educators to develop the concept of literacy with ICT.

Action Research
2005-2006

All school divisions conduct action research on Literacy witih ICT Across the Curriculum and build capacity for implementation.

Implementation Year 1
2006-2007

Selected K-8 classrooms in each school division begin to use the Developmental Continuum for Literacy with ICT and to pilot their divisional reporting model.

Implementation Year 2
2007-2008

Additional K-8 classrooms in each school division use the Developmental Continuum for Literacy with ICT and begin reporting to parents on student literacy with ICT.

Implementation Year 3
2008-2009

All K-8 classrooms in all Manitoba schools and divisions use the Developmental Continuum for Literacy with ICT and report to parents on student literacy with ICT.
