ASL Assistant Services

• Provides American Sign Language ASL) support to the Manitoba Education, Citizenship, and Youth (MECY) Outreach and School teams in assisting deaf and hard of hearing students and support staff.
• Visits schools that request support from Deaf Personnel or a Deaf Role model.
• Establishes and provides ASL clubs for student and staff.
• Provides ASL support for students, families and communities.
• Provides presentations on Deaf-related topics.
• Schedules and provides video phone conferencing to student(s) and Educational assistant(s)/interpreter(s).
