Manitoba’s Celebration of Excellence in Teaching – Minister’s Awards, recognize outstanding achievement by Manitoba teachers. Most of us remember at least one teacher who stood out among the many who influenced our lives – a teacher who encouraged, guided and inspired us to do our best. Teachers play a vital role in enhancing student learning and helping students achieve their goals and realize their dreams both in school and beyond.

Manitoba’s Celebration of Excellence in Teaching – Minister’s Awards recognize innovative and exemplary teaching practices in three categories:

• Teaching Excellence
• Outstanding New Teacher
• Team Collaboration

Three Teaching Excellence awards will be presented; one award to an early years teacher, one to a middle years teacher and one to a senior years teacher.

One Outstanding New Teacher award will be presented to an early years, middle years or senior years teacher.

One Team Collaboration award will be presented to a team of teachers (maximum of three) from Kindergarten to Grade 12.

Manitoba Education, Citizenship and Youth invites you to honour outstanding teachers in your community by nominating them.
