Curriculum Resources
Manitoba’s Middle Years curricula offer many opportunities to challenge and engage young adolescent learners. Learning experiences that are hands-on and experiential in nature are best suited for learners in the Middle Years. Each curriculum offers suggestions for making learning more experiential and engaging for learners from Grades 5 to 8.
Information on any of the curriculum/subject areas for Kindergarten to Grade 12 is available on the Manitoba Education and Early Childhood Learning website.
The following types of curriculum resources are available for the Middle Years:
- framework and implementation documents (for compulsory subject areas)
- teacher support documents (for compulsory and optional subject areas)
- resources addressing integratable elements of education
