Calls for Social Studies

Grade 11 History of Canada - is a survey course that covers the span of history from pre-contact times to the present.  A major rationale for the course is to help students better understand the Canada of today.  Historical thinking concepts, imbedded throughout the course, provide a lens through which students conduct their inquiry. 

Grade 10 American History - is a survey course with a focus on those historical developments that have shaped the history of the United States and have influenced the world, especially Canada. This course provides opportunities for students to examine the contributions of individuals who helped shape American history.

Intent to Submit deadline is September 10, 2008 and resource submission is between October 1 to 10, 2008.
