Celebrate 100 Years of Anne of Green Gables

This year, the province of Prince Edward Island is celebrating the 100th anniversary of the publication of L.M. Montgomery’s most famous novel, Anne of Green Gables.  Canada’s best-selling novel of all time, Anne of Green Gables has been translated into more than 36 languages and is a beloved story for millions of readers worldwide.

Even if the main events of the year are taking place on Prince Edward Island, PEI is inviting everyone to participate in their celebration. Educators will have a special role since they have the opportunity to explore the magic of this story and its remarkable impact on the world with their students.
