The Middle Years Experiential Learning Grant is intended as an additional support for existing programming and as a catalyst for new initiatives directed at “hands on” learning. Young adolescents are most engaged in learning experiences that are authentic and active. Experiential learning motivates and engages middle years students by providing learners with “hands on” opportunities to explore, experiment, investigate, and solve problems.
