Courses Developed

The following courses are available, free of charge, to any school division or adult learning centre wishing to implement web-based courses.

New Grade 9 and 10 WBC Mathematics courses were made available in the fall of 2011, and are congruent with the new math curriculum. The older versions of the Grade 10 WBC Math courses have been removed from the WBCRS. New!

New Grade 12 WBC Mathematics courses have been developed to support implementation timelines and to align to provincial assessment requirements. New!
**The existing version of the Grade 12 Applied WBC Math course will continue to be available only until June of 2012, when implementation of the new curriculum is to occur.
***The Consumer Math 40S WBC will be removed from the WBCRS at the end of June 2012.

Current Grade 11 WBC Mathematics courses will continue to be available as is, until new courses are released to replace them (see the development schedule for more information). The current versions will require teacher modification.

**The use of current versions of Grade 11 WBC Mathematics courses will require teacher modification. See http://www.edu.gov.mb.ca/k12/cur/math/outcomes/index.html for correlation charts for help in what needs to be modified in order to meet all curriculum outcomes.

Manitoba teachers may wish to use the tools found in the Blackboard online environment to facilitate communication with students and to easily create customized content for their classroom.
