Committees

Grades 4-6 Multi-age

The goal of this committee is to assist in the planning and writing of a document which will help teachers who find themselves teaching Basic French in combined or multi-age classrooms. The document will include an explanation of the multi-age philosophy, strategies, activities and rubrics to help teachers feel more at ease when they are teaching in the multi-level setting.

Grade 4-6 Pilot Committee of Basic French Resources

This committee will meet four times throughout the 2007-2008 school year. The first goal is to pilot new resources provided by several publishers. The teachers will give feedback from their students as well as themselves with the intention of making suggestions of new resources to be included in the MTTB ca

Grade 7-12 Basic French Continuum Committee

This committee will meet four times throughout the 2007-2008 school year in conjunction with the Grade 4-6 committee to begin discussions for creating a learning continuum. The intention is to provide easy transition from elementary French classes to the Middle and Senior grades for both teachers and students.
