Manitoba is improving transparency and accountability in government. As one step in the process, Manitoba is making publicly available through routine disclosure information on ministersí individual expenses and ministerial out-of-province travel. Annual Reports are also available.

Minister's individual expenses are defined as costs personally incurred by a Minister and paid by the Minister's department. They do not include Ministerís constituency expenses, which are covered by the Legislative Assembly.

These reports are based on the organizational structure in place at the end of the reporting period. If Ministers change portfolios during the year, the report for a department will include the costs for both the current and the previous Minister.
The Annual Reports are organized in accordance with the Department's appropriation structure. The reports include information at the main and sub-appropriation levels relating to the Department's objectives, actual results achieved, financial performance and variances, and present a five-year historical table showing the Departmental expenditures and staffing.
