Selected Conference Proceedings

Papers may be submitted for consideration for selected conference proceedings to the Conference Proceedings Committee Chairs: Dr. Laara Fitznor fitznorl@ms.umanitoba.ca and Dr. Mary Young m.young@uwinnipeg.ca. The authors of papers selected for proceedings will be required to submit a 2,500 word summary of their paper.

Presenters from the 2005, 2006 and 2007AERF conferences are invited to submit a written piece of their presentations for consideration in a compiled conference proceeding publication. The final product for proceedings may appear through on-line publications or in a journal form.

2005 AERF Selected Proceedings:
Papers will be selected based on the theme: What is Aboriginal Research and What does it mean to the Aboriginal Community?

2006 AERF Selected Proceedings:
Papers will be selected based on the theme: Celebrating the Circles of Knowledge: Mind, Body, Spirit and Emotions of Research.

2007 AERF Selected Proceedings:
Papers will be selected based on the theme: Visioning in Aboriginal Education for Seven Generations: Honouring and Living Vision through Research.

2008 AERF Selected Proceedings:
Papers will be selected based on the theme: "Ethics of Honouring Indigenous Knowledge Bundles and Elder Teachings for Research Relevance.

These are a call for papers for publications.  If the papers are accepted, they will be published in the Selected Proceedings. Papers submitted should be 5 pages single-spaced or 10 pages double-spaced and should be in MS Word format. Papers must not have been previously published or currently submitted for publication. All submissions must be received by July 4, 2008.
