In support of Manitoba’s goals and priorities relating to Aboriginal education, the Aboriginal Education Directorate has developed an Aboriginal Teachers’ Questionnaire which was distributed to all certified administrative and/or instructional personnel in the spring of 2006. This 2006 Questionnaire fulfills Manitoba’s commitment to improve the research base for Aboriginal education by establishing baseline information on the number and location of Aboriginal teachers in Manitoba.
Aboriginal Educators' Poster Series
This four-poster series was developed to encourage students to become an Educator. Every high school in Manitoba, Faculties of Education, Adult Learning Centres, and educational stakeholders received the Aboriginal Educators’ poster series in March 2008. A limited number of hard copies are still available by contacting the Aboriginal Education Directorate. These posters are also available for download as PDF files.
